I have a copy of XP home, which I bought as an OEM, during a self build
approx 18 months to 2 yrs ago. Everything been fine until today, when for
some reason windows thinks it is pirated, with the nag icon in the tray. I
have the orig hologram CD, but cant find the orig packaging with the COA,
probably lost it somewhere. I have got my key from the majical jellybean
keyfinder. How to I persuaide XP Home that it is genuine???

Do you think you remembered to stick the COA on the computer case,
as originally instructed?

Cant seem to find it, I have the CD, which is a copper coloured CD with
holograms all over it, and I bought it when I purchased the parts for the PC.
I have retreived the CD key using the keyfinder, but I am unsure as to what
to do next?? I dont want microsoft thinking I have an illegal copy as I
havnt.
