Every time I turn on my HP pavilion 750c (WinXP-SP2) I get a balloon with
this message: "Found new hardware ST380020A Disk Drive" . Then the "Found
New Hardware Wizard" starts and gives me this message: "There was a problem
installing this hardware. The drivers for this device are not installed (Code
28)."
The "Device Manager" under "Disk Drives" shows a "photosmart printer card
reader (HPH09)" and a yellow exclamation mark next to "ST380020A". When I
checked the manufaturer it only shows "Standard disk drives" and all other
info is "unknown".
Also, I can no longer connect my HP Jornada handheld PC and I was wondering
if this could be a related problem. I tried to find this driver on
driverguide.com , but no luck. Does anyone know what this driver does?
Thanks,
