Files and Settings Transfer Wizard

Am preparing to transfer Files and settings to a new computer. Both old and
new use XP. Have followed through the Wizard and collected the files etc and
want to transfer to CD.
All has gone well - but the message "Drive is not ready for use. Check the
drive and make sure disk is properly inserted" appears. There is no problem
with writing to CD and downloading from CD, except with the FAST programme.
Can someone advise please

Are you trying to burn it directly to a CD? If so, then it won't work. Just
have it create a file on the C drive then burn that to the CD with your
favorite CD burning program such as Nero, Roxio or even Windows CD Burning
software.

Thanks Mike - I'm following the Wizard instructions which tell me that it is
ready to create the first disk (two will be required) and to place the disk
into position - I've done this but the wizard tells me there is no disk
inserted. I would like to finish this transfer with the Wizard if possible
but if an alternative method is more reliable then I'm willl ing to give it a
go Best wishes Tedd
