explorer.exe problems

When i try to open My Computer/search for something from
the start menu a box comes up that says: "explorer.exe has
generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will
need to restart the program." i would appreciate it if
someone could tell me how to fix these errors.

There is an article about this around on Microsoft's
website, you should also update to the latest service pack.
