Error message

You might try searching this newsgroup for error "0x80072f8f".
For instance, Tom "Sky" King says to try this:

From the many other posts here, it appears that the fix is to open a CMD
window, then correct the date and time for the system. At the C:\ prompt
just enter "date" and then "time" and enter the correct information (I'd
suggest you enter the info even if it appears correct).

Note that I haven't seen this issue, so am just reporting what others here
have given as a likely fix.

Hello Alshig,

Please go to Windows Update, do an express scan, and apply all offered
updates.
http://update.microsoft.com
See whether that gets you current---then, within Windows Defender, go to
Help, about, and hit Check for Updates. Do you still get the error message?
