Unable to update, Error code 0x80072f8f

I have installed Windows Defender (Beta 2), by downloading it from the
microsoft website. It is showing that the windows defender definitions have
not been updated in 68 days. When I am clicking on check for updates, it
returns an error code 0x80072f8f.

Please help.

Thanks, Engel,

The microsoft express update had a seperate update for Windows defender.
After installing the update, the defender is working fine.
