error 0x800CCC0F ( cannot retrieve my ISP e mails but can send)

Can anyone help solve my problem, I can send e mails on my new laptop by
Windows mail but can't retrieve my e mails from my Sky ISP. I have set up
pop smpt and user name and password.
I have loaded AVG free addition and am also running the preloaded Norton 60
day trail antivirus
Do I also need to insert SKY Disc (get set)I loaded into my old PC that's
working perfectly and can receive and send all my e mails.
My new laptop is a HP pavilion dv6355ea and am using sky wireless broadband
net gear router

BELOW IS THE ERROR MESSAGE I GET??

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'pop.sky com', Server: 'pop.sky.com', Protocol: POP3,
Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

You are running two separate antivirus programs, AVG and Norton?
Man, are you asking for trouble! Never run more than one AV.
Uninstall Norton because it is not compatible with Windows Mail.
