DVD Burner

My DVD Burner will not initialize burn process. Also DVD
r/w shows in my computer as CDRom. Burning Programs like
Nero do not work because Win XP will not allow it to
initiate burn sequence. So, what do I do?

Do any errors appear when you try and
burn with Nero?

Disable XP's built in burning, Go to Control Panel
Admin Tools/Services. Go to Imapi and disable it.

Reboot then try and burn with Nreo.
