DpvSetup.exe

I have 2 microphones, and they have always worked, but
recently neither will record sound. When I go to "test
hardware" this is what I get

"An error occurred during RealPlay Voice Setup. The Error
Code is 0x80004005"

when you press ok then this pops up

"Windows cannot execute DpvSetup.exe, use Add/Remove
Programs control panel to install"

I don't know what the problem is, but I have to get them
working, because I have a 600 point project which is to
create a flash animation, but I need to record the speach
sections. This is very important, please help

I'm not really sure, but that sounds awefully important.
