Double scrolling

When viewing a web site in IE 6 with sp1, I get a double
scroll when I click to scroll down one page even though
I'm only clicking once. This doesn't happen with any
other program just IE.

Any thoughts out there? I've searched the KB several
times and can't seem to locate anything on this.

Did you install this patch 824145?
It's probably the cause. You can remove it with the Add/Remove applet but
will loose the security aspect.

Work arounds:
Click immediately under the slider.
Drag the slider.
Use the mouse wheel.
Use the Page Down and Page Up keys.

FYI:

MS just fixed the double-scroll bug in their latest IE6 patch, released
today (KB832894).

This bug fix is not documented in the patch information, but this latest
patch silently fixes the double-scroll bug introduced in the Q824145/K824145
"update".
