cant copy pics to CD anymore

I have an HP Pavilion 504n, that came with Win XP. I used to have the option to copy pictures to CD in the My Pictures folder, but I no longer have that function. The burner was also pre-installed when I bought the computer. I have checked with HP, and they have no updated drivers for the burner. When I try to just copy the pic by clicking on copy to, then selecting the CD burner, I get an incorrect function error. I can use the RecordNow software that came pre-installed, and it works fine. I just lost the Windows burning function. Anyone know what I can do to get this function back?

My Computer | Richt Click CD Drive | Properties |
Recording tab | Enable CD recording on this drive | Apply | OK
[[Indicates that you can copy files to the CD. You can only enable CD
recording for one device at a time.]]

I no longer have a recording tab there, even tho it shows up as a CD-RW in Device Manager. It used to be there, but something happened, and its no longer showing up. Thanks for the suggestion, tho.

Check to make sure that you CDRW drive is enabled.
Right click on your CDRW drive, select Properties, Recording tab, Enable.

If that is correct, you could try:-
1. Click on Start
2. Click on Run
3. Type the following in the textbox: REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
(Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...)
4. Press Enter.
