Cannot open "\\bird\bscsug\_vti_pvt\.structure.cnf.tmp"...

When publishing my web with FP2002 I got the error:

Server error: Cannot
open "\\bird\bscsug\_vti_pvt\.structure.cnf.tmp": no such file
or folder.

But that file (zero length) existed when I checked.

Can anybody help me to overcome that problem?

Have you contacted your host and ask them to run a check on the extensions
and/or check permissions?

I have a suspicion that the problem might be related to the
fact that my Window XP does not allow to rename files to a
dotted filenames, e.g. ".name". I am checking this at the
moment.

FP will not support any dotted file names

It is strange because such dotted files are created during
web publishing. Aren't they created by FP? Or does web
server (Oracle IAS / Apache) create them?
