server error when trying to publish

I get server error : cannot open "mnt/ web/
guide/_vti_pvt/ frontpg.lck" no such file or folder.
After making some changes on my computer, I must have lost
this file and now I can't update my website.Thanks in
advance to anybody who can help. Please advise

I had something like this happen a few weeks ago and found that I did have
the file... but somehow it had gotten changed to read only. May not be what
your problem is but you might want to check and see?????
