Hello all, I have attempted to set up Windows XP Home
Edition to accept incoming connections through dial-up. I
went through the "Set up home or small office network"
wizard and when I am given the option to select the
device, I check the modem. The wizard completes with no
error, but when I tried to connect to the computer from
another line, it did not answer.
I right-clicked on the "incoming connection" and
clicked "Properties" and noticed that the modem was no
longer selected as the device. I check the box beside the
modem, click ok, and try again... no answer. So I go once
again to the properties of the "incoming connection" only
to find that the modem was no longer selected. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreicated.
