Disappearing Incoming Connection

G

Guest

I have no problem setting up an incoming connection (modem), but every time I restart my Win XP Pro computer, the connection disappears, and I have to remember to set it up again before leaving the office. We have remote systems which use the dial up to poll data at night, so when I forget it's a real hassle

How can I make the "incoming connection" permanent

Thanks for any help

Make sure that the Remote Access Connection Manager is set to
Automatic startup vs Manual (in Computer Management->Services)
