ads.x10.com/request for help to remove

ads.x10.com annoyance

I submitted a request to this newsgroup seeking help to stop the
ads.x10.com popunders. The suggestion that worked was putting an entry
in my HOSTS file. The ads no longer appear. That worked to the extent
that I don't get the ad but the window still appears with the message
the page doesn't exist or something. And then I have to click it away.
AdAware and Spybot found nothing.

I need some help to find this thing in my system where the request is
being made to go to x10. I want to remove it.

Can anyone please help me on this. I have IE6 and am running on
WindowsXP.

TIA
