Adding Sound Events

My CMOS battery went weak and I lost a lot of settings. Now my sound scheme
is back to what appearsto be a basic scheme. How can I add new sound events
such as the sounds that were in use for lets say, my Quicken program? When I
go to the control panel to edit or modify the sounds, Quicken isn't even
listed any more.

You didn't save your sound settings before your battery died? Which you
usually have at least 3 years to do? Tsk-tsk. :(

P.S. Haven't anybody ever heard the word "Backup" before? Do you think
we are joking when we say this?

Well you should either add the sounds manually, or reinstall Quicken and
others again. As what else can you do?
