Missing sound events in 'Sound' Control Panel .. help?

A corrupted hard drive resulted in a backup-restoration of my user registry.
I had to reconfigure my XP display theme and my IE settings and my Outlook
settings and lots of other settings on my computer.

The Sound events also got reset and for some reason none of the Explorer
events are even listed in the Sound control panel, so I couldn't map the
sound events to sounds if I tried.

Does anyone know how to restore these?

Yeah, funny, right after I posted this thread I googled and found a
different www.kellys-korner-xp.com page (the one with a zillion different
links to .reg and .vbs files) and found exactly what I needed (restore
default windows xp sounds).
