Zip Codes won't export from my outlook contacts to excel

Likely be related to one of the following items:

#1 - Postal code was not explicitly included in the field map OR
#2 - The data is not residing in the correct field (i.e. open up the address
window to verify that the PCode is where it's supposed to be in a contact
that's not getting exported correctly)

To eliminate the issue of the export process not working correctly -
(seriously doubt this will be the case)
a) create a new folder
b) create a new contact
c) populate the address field filling in each field individually (click
on the Business Address button)
d) export the folder and confirm that all fields are included in the
export field map
If the PCode isn't exported after the above - then there is another issue at
play

This fix works

I had the same problem with Outlook 2003 and my fix was;

File
Import and Export
Export to a file
Microsoft Excel
Contacts
"Save exported file as:" [your file name]
Select - Map Custom Fields
Select - "Clear Map"
Select - "Default Map"
OK
Finish
