Za Pro ICS

Using ICS for both xp pc, initially it work fine but
after installing zone alarm pro, the client pc couldn't
access the net. When I install ZA Pro it detected a new
network and give it a IP of 192.168.0.0 Previously the
host pc is using 192.168.0.1 and the client pc is using
dhcp, meaning the IP will be automatically assign.

I did place the IP range of the client pc onto ZA pro
under trusted zone but still no go, wondering could it be
due to the difference between the host IP which is
192.168.0.1 (manually set) and ZA Pro assign 192.168.0.0?
Do I need to change the host IP to 192.168.0.0? Pls
advised!

I don't have ZA Pro, but I've never seen a firewall assign a computer an
IP address. What you may be thinking of is the IP range which for your
network should be 192.168.0.0-192.168.0.xxx (some appropriate number
high enough for your network). That would include the gateway pc. Make
sure you only have the one trusted IP range in ZA.

I did a Google for "ZoneAlarm Pro + ICS" and got quite a few
configuration links which you might want to look at. Here's one from
the ZA forums:

You have to TELL ZA PRO that you are using a NAT/GATEWAY and each time you
upgrade to the newest ZA PRO you have to tell the program that same thing
all over again. If you havent told ZA PRO that, it will not work just as you
have pointed out.
