Dear People,

My pore ole Lexmark Z-25 printer quit printing in color after I checked
the (print color photos in black & white) box. Which I wanted it to
do, because I caught it mixing colors to make black for general letter
printing etc.--(I refil my own cartriges & color is a lot higher than
just plain old black)

Then I wanted to print a picture, so I went back to properties &
UNCHECKED the (print color photos in black & white)box .

Now, it wont print ANYTHING !---Unless I CHECK the box. then it does
B&W only.
It goes thru all the motions, but doesn't squirt any ink---Cartriges
are OK.

I have no experience with the printer you're talking about, but...

The first thing I'd try is to uninstall the printer entirely, remove the driver,
reboot the computer, and then reinstall the driver. Sounds more to me like a
software problem than hardware.

Good luck...

Probably time to uninstall and reinstall the drivers. They tend to be
somewhat unstable. Try installing the most current versions from the
Lexmark website.
