whenever I open my computer it always give me the message that yupdater.exe has encountered a problem. And whenever I open a message from Microsoft news alert and try to close the windows, my browser and hotmail box just goes off.Sometimes when I open msn browser, it just goes off by itself. Has anyone encountered that kind of problem and how can it be solved.

Do you use Yahoo? Is yes, then you may deselect Yahoo related stuff from
startup: Click Start, Run, type msconfig , select Startup tab and deselect
Yahoo related entries and click OK.

Hi David,

In addition to Venki steps, you need to remove yahoo messenger first in the
add/remove utility and then try downloading the latest version.

This error occurs if the current yahoo messenger version is corrupted or any
of the related files are missing.

This will solve the problem.
