Hi
I was just wondering if anyone had any idea about the problem I am having
with trying to open up some software that I installed. Whenever I try to open
it I keep getting the message that vmo.exe has encountered a problem and
needs to close. Its driving me insane. Would really appreciate any help.
Thanks

Have you located which software this "vmo.exe" is part of? A search
of the web indicates that it can be a valid Windows program or a
spyware. You need to verify it yourself before locating the possible
fix.

Hi there
There is a windows prefetch file with it and also on the software that I
have installed. They both are legit. Im thinking that maybe the software that
they stated is compatible with XP actually isnt. Thanks for your help anyway

Please post a copy of the full Error Report from Event Viewer.

You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel,
Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer. When researching the meaning
of the error, information regarding Event ID, Source and Description
are important.

HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308427/en-us

Part of the Description of the error will include a link, which you
should double click for further information. You can copy using copy
and paste. Often the link will, however, say there is no further
information.

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double
click on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a
button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event
Viewer. Now start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of
the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from
Event Viewer.

Hope this helps.
