Eric;
Go to Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.
Updates are listed near the bottom.

Otherwise a Repair installation will do it:

Jupiter got you covered... But I have to ask..

What is an "Air Message"?
Is it one of those sky-writing plane things.. because I would think that
would be pretty cool if my computer could make those. *grin*

And it sounds like you may have other problems with your machine beyond the
norm.. The updates should NOT do what you describe and do not to MOST of the
people who use them. You may want to consider cleaning up your machine
(clean install) or less extreme, verify your Antivirus Software is updated,
run a full scan; use Spybot Search and Destroy and Lavasoft AdAware to get
rid of spy/ad/mal-ware; turn on your firewall and/or install/configure a
hardware/software 3rd party one.

Also, it looked like you posted using your real "un-modified" email address.
Please do not blame Microsoft when you start getting the spam that will
inevitable start coming to you now - as some of it WILL look like Microsoft
email in many ways - it is NOT.
