Your server wishes to .....

Outlook 2K3 SP2.

I have one user who get the message "Your IMAP server wishes to alert you to
the following: STATUS failed" No other user is getting this message. Anyone
seen this before and know how to get rid of?

I've deleted the user's profile, ran a scan on the PST file. Not sure what
else to do. The message doesn't say a whole lot.

Thanks for any and all help

You get this message when doing what?
Where does this error display? Send/Receive dialog, pop-up, balloon-tip,
other?

This happens when the user opens outlook initially and when the user does a
send/receive or when outlook does the send/receive automatically.

But in what kind of dialog is it shown? If in the Send/Receive dialog it is
very unlikely that this is the full error message. Post the full error
message.
Do things work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode?

I solved it - one of my IMAP account's folders reached maximum storage capacity and blocked all access. I asked the provider for more storage and cleaned up. Problem solved.

EDIT: Although the above post pointed me in the right direction; unsubscribing would ignore the problem, not solve it. ;-)
