Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls

Hi there,

I run Windows 2003 Server with all the latest patches from
windowsupdate.
My security settings for the trusted zone are set to low. However
still I get the error message "Your current security settings prohibit
running ActiveX controls" that basically doesn't allow me to use a
website that I did include i the trusted zone.

I understand MS concern about security nowadays, however as Win2003
comes out of the box they better remove the browser right away. It's
just a big pain...
and time waster :(

Anybody found a way to make this run ? I mean what more can I do than
set the mentioned security settings to low ?

best regards
andreas

Go through the ActiveX settings and see which ones are still
set to disabled, even with the "Low" security setting. One by
one, either enable them or set them to "Prompt" until your
website works properly.
