I am trying to access some web pages and get the error....
Your Current Security Settings Prohibit running Active X Controls on thisw
page. As a result the page may not display.

I have checked all my "Active" X settings and enabled them in Tools |
Options, but I still get the problem.....please advise as this is most
annoying.
Thanks
Dermot

Hi PA Bear,
I am using Windows XP Pro with SP1 and SP2 installed.
The problem shows on Internet Explorer 6.0, AOL 9.0 and Mozzilla Firefox 1.0.
How do I determine which "Internet Zone"?...I don't understand what you mean.
Thanks
Dermot

IE Tools>Internet Options>Security>... in which of these zones is the
problem occurring (e.g., Internet zone)?

Do you have a Norton or McAfee product installed?

Hey PA Bear I am having the same problem with several web pages I have
visited recently. One being www.macromedia.com. I have tried all of the
options you have listed so far and none of them work. I have also done all
that Dermot had done and none of it has worked. I am running windows xp pro
sp2. Can you help?
