"you do not have cookies enabled" help

Hank

I am going crazy trying to order online from some sites. I
keep getting the error message your shopping cart is empty because
"you do not have cookies enabled". I use both Firefox and IE. The
cookie settings I have for Firefox are "allow sites to set cookies"
"for originating web site only" and keep cookies "ask me everytime".
I have also tried to set an exception for the store site to always
allow its cookies but not luck. In IE my privacy setting for cookies
is medium. I have also tried setting the shopping site as a managed
site listed as always allowing cookies. Same problem. Site I am
trying to order from the wife's croostitch store
http://www.silkweaver.com/.
email response not expected but to respond remove .uk at end
TIA
Hank

Hi Hank,

In FireFox, go to Tools - Options - Privacy (on the left) and expand
Cookies.
Click on Exceptions and scroll down the list and make sure the site is
not blocked.
Scroll down all the way and make sure it is not listed more than once.
If it is blocked, highlight the site and click Remove Site.

Now click Clear next to Cache, just below cookies.

Now try the site again in FF.

You can also add a site and click Allow, also.

Thanks for your response. In original posting I had already
looked for site being blocked, set site as an exception to allow all
cookies and had tried clearing the cache. None of which worked. Is
there some secret place where cookie rules are set for all of
windowsxp browsers?
