Yellow Vertical Bars on Monitor w/ AIW 9800 Pro

I am reposting this in the hope that someone has an idea to fix it. I have
had some users email me saying they have the same problem but have not been
able to find a way to fix it.

---------------------

Hello,
I just finished building my new computer and bought the All-in-Wonder 9800
Pro as my graphics card.

The problem I am having now is I am getting four or five vertical bars on
the monitor screen a few times per day. To get rid of them I can just click
on the "show desktop" button on the quick launch bar. The vertical bars are
usually a yellow "see through" color. They show up a lot of times when I am
scrolling up or down on a page

Right now I am using 1280x1024 resolution with 32big color quality and
70hertz refresh on a 19inch Daewoo monitor.

I have installed all of the latest drivers from ATI's web site and also
formatted and re-installed WIN XP.

Right now all I have installed is Windows XP Home, ATI Drivers, Creative
Audigy LS drivers and windows updates. I have not installed any software
yet until I can get this problem fixed.

I have also double checked that everything is plugged in and screwed tight
into the back of the computer.

The rest of my computer info is:
WinXP Home - Service Pack 1
Pentium 4 - 3.0Ghz
1 Gig of ram (dual 512mb 3200 sticks)
All in Wonder 9800 Pro
Creative Audigy LS
Gigabyte Motherboard: GA-8IPE1000 Pro (with Intel 864PE Chipset)

If there is any other info needed please let me know.
THANKS
Adam

How old is your monitor? Is it 3-4 years old? If yes, then this maybe the
cause. However, there could also be a faulty monitor cable.
Try a lower res 1024*768*32 but with high refresh rate, say 85or100Hz.
If monitor is new, and yellow line appears on all modes/res then can be a
faulty gfx board. Get a replacement from vendor.
