Hi,
I have a PC running XP with IE 6. It runs pretty well on all
websites, except my.yahoo.com, which I use as my start page. When I
open my browser, it will load the top graphic, but lag on loading the
rest for anywhere from 5-45 seconds - it always eventually loads.
If I already have the browser open on a different page and go to
my.yahoo.com, it seems to come up fine - it only seems to be right
when I open the browser that I have the problem.
I don't have the same problem when using other computers with IE 6 at
this location or when using other browsers on my computer. Only the
combination of my computer and IE 6 gives me this problem, which of
course is exactly what I need to use!
I've also tried clearing the cache and history, to no avail. I didn't
have this problem at my old house with the same setup, so I don't know
if its my new ISP (SBC Yahoo DSL) or a change Yahoo has made to their
code or something.
I've looked around on the posts and seen lots of others with similar
problems, but no real solutions. Can anyone help?
