Yahoo Search and others altered

Every time I do a search on Yahoo, it takes me to a
different search page (green and orange) where I have to
enter search again. Clicking preferences and advanced
takes me to the same page. Ran Norton and Spyhunter and
neither fixed the problem. Has some registry default been
tampered with?

try spybot at safer-networking.org very good spyware
finder. and don't forget to update first after install.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

You have probably inadvertently downloaded and installed adware,
spyware, parasite, trojan or a browser hijacker from some web site:
