IE hangs on searches, url/filename.pdf#search='search term'

IE will hang on a search link where Yahoo will give a link to a pdf file
including apparently a pdf word search,

http://.,url.../filename.pdf#search='search term'

If I delete the 'search term' and click Enter page then loads.

Have had this problem some time now through winME and winXPsp2 too.
Thinking it must be either the way I configure IE or the di624a dlink router
..... or possibly yahoo whom I use for IE address bar searches. I really
don't know, irritating thing whenever I do click a pdf link returned from
yahoo.

Anyone recognize the same and know the fix ? thanks

Are you trying to do this with Acrobat installed or just Acrobat Reader?
Previous discussion suggests a related feature (#Page= ) is not available
with just AR or at least only available with specially prepared documents.
