Searching -- YAHOO?

I tried everything but can't do it. ie:
Ran HIJACK THIS! and cleaned it out
Searched for all YAHOO! words in the registry and deleted
Checked INSTALL/REMOVE programs. Not there
Checked all files and removed all references to YAHOO!
Changed my search default to MSN or GOOGLE

Type in a word, any word, in the search bar like I used to
and YAHOO! comes up! It's worst than the flu!

How do I get IE 6.0 back to 'normal'?

Well, you never do specify what you mean by "Yahoo comes up." Does that
mean their home page appears or the search results displayed are
Yahoo's? If the search results displayed are from Yahoo then you
probably have the Yahoo search selected as your default search engine.

Open the Search pane in IE and check its customization to see which
search engine is the default. If Yahoo then pick whichever one you want
to use.
