I'm having problems with the new yahoo IM, won't start
up, even tho I downloaded all system requirements, tried
to get in touch with Yahoo tech support, and " good
luck " ! All I get from them are more form letters
telling me to try what I've already tried ! Has anyone
found a solution to this problem ??

Have you tried using Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel to uninstall
Yahoo? Have you tried using System Restore to take your system back to a
time prior to when this began, Start\All Programs\Accessories\System
Tools\System Restore.

They probably can't be much help to you because Yahoo created the problem
but since you now can't open Windows Messenger, you might want to try asking
this question in the windowsxp.messenger newsgroup.

Hi,
Even though I have an XP Home Edition, I still download
ICQ. It's a heck of a lot more user friendly, and it
also has voice mail, and chat and all the other things
that IM has but is a LOT easier to use.
Sincerely,
Nanette
