Administrative rights

I have an administator account on my computer with a password and when trying
to update Norton or download Yahoo Messenger I get an error that says I must
have an administrator account. How do I fix this? I am using Windows Xp home
Sp 3.

Are you logged on as you - with Administrator privileges? Or as The
Administrator? Could be to install Norton, which mnay would not advise
using, you probably have to log in as The Administrator.
