Yahoo Inbox.. Cannot access

One PC on a home network cannot access the Yahoo inbox. The PC is running Windows XP with all security patches and updates. This includes IE6 and Office XP. We can login to Yahoo just fine but when anything with Yahoo is clicked, (inbox, compose, etc,) it will eventually bring up a page saying the requested page cannot be found. Two other PC’s running the same configuration can access the site with no problems

Steps taken
SpyBot latest updates say all clear
NAV, current and no issue
Reinstalled IE6 using Reg hack found in MS Knowledge Base

And then this crazy step. I downloaded Opera and setup on this PC and it has the same problem.

One last thing to note.. I did find some other people having the same issue that were behind a Netgear Router, as are we. It is updated with the latest firmware an NO blocking of any type is setup. I would think that if this was the problem the other PC’s would have this issue as well

Thanks to anyone that contributes.

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.

To protect agains an other attack, be sure to install hotfix 828750 which
fixes the exploit that this virus uses.
