I have a dvd recorder that can burn from a usb input.

I don't have a dvd burner in my puta so I want to convert my xvid
mvoies to dvd such that it makes all the necessary files and folders
etc, so then I can copy them onto my usb flash drive and then burn the
usb contents( that contain all the dvd files etc) onto a dvd when i
connect it to my dvd recorder... clear as mud eh! Hoping someone can
help.

TIA,

Pete

I think I found something...

Does this do the trick?

DivxToDVD by VSO-Software (free version)

any others?

Dookus

once you have made them ... you copy the files to the root directory of the
DVD, you can place them in folders if you wish, however some DVD players
don't have the function to browse for the files, but if yours does .. and
you do make folders .. try to keep the folder names 8 characters long with
no spaces.. the same goes for the files

I like Simple Dvix, http://www.simpledivx.org/main/

making good quality divx or Xvid will take quite some time .. so be prepared
