i have been getting the error that xptask.dll stopped working fo about 2 months on vistaOS.plz sugggest a solution.

I am using Windows Vista Home Premium operating system with my HP laptop.
Suddenly from last few weeks the system has started throwing following error
messange in a separate window continuously.
"XPTask.dll has stopped working"
Can you please suggest me the solution?
