XPSP2, Yahoo messenger causes my resolution setting to go ultra-lo

After I installed SP 2, When I run yahoo messenger it connnects okay, but my
screen resolution changes to ultra-low, only while I am connected to yahoo
messenger service. I've tried yahoo support and they suggested to adjust my
firewall and proxies, however this has done nothing. I've re-installed SP2 as
well as the yahoo messenger. Any Help would be appreciated
