xpsp2 can not create vpn connection

Hello,
I've got an xpsp2 pro system that i'm trying to connect to another box using
vpn. I've selected network to home or workplace in the network setup
wizzard, yet the option to set up a vpn connection is grayed out and will
not allow me to click it. Any info appreciated. I've got all the current
updates installed.

Did you patch SP2 with the VPN fix??

Hello,
Yes i did, it did not make a difference. I don't even get through
completing the connection, the item for vpn is grayed.
