i have installed xp pack2,will this be enough to protect my pc,the thing is
on my security center it only shows firewall,is this anit virus aswell?
thankyou

It has no anti virus built in. You need a good anti virus plus spyware
prevention software. Also Windows Firewall, whilst good, doesn't quite go
as far as software firewalls.
Google for free Anti-virus and spyware tools.. there are many out there.

That's a matter of opinion, so I'll give you mine...No.

Windows XP SP2 loads Windows Firewall which is a very limited firewall that
only offers protection from incoming connections. There is no protection
from outgoing (unauthorized) connections such as those that might occur with
sypware.

As far as Antivirus, there is no default virus protection with Windows. You
have to load that yourself.

My suggestion would be to load a better firewall (ZoneAlarm and others have
free personal firewalls), a spyware scanner such as AdAware and antivirus
such as Norton, McAfee or others. Which one to use is, again, a matter of
opinion in many cases.

No the MS False Sense of Security Center will not protect you.
