I had to reinstall xp to factory settings. Everything
seemed to be going good until it got to the welcome
screen. It will not go any further, it just hangs up
there with the hourglass. can ny one help me out on this?

Is this after or before you enter your password? And what problem caused
you to do a factory restore in the first place?
