XP x64 - Pros, Cons and problems

I recently got a new work computer that had Windows XP Professional x64
installed on it. As the first x64 OS in our company, we are excited to test
it for any compatibility or configuration issues. First, let me give the
stats of the machine this is installed on:

2 Intel Xenon Dual Core 3.0Ghz cpu
2 Gb 500Mhz RAM
250 Gb hard drive
128Mb ATI FireGL V3100 (pci-express)

MS Software installed:
Office 2003 Professional Enterprise Edition

Pros:
It's fast, it's pretty and there are very little differences in the GUI from
standard XP. The biggest difference being the program files are seperated by
32-bit & 64-bit programs. It DOES identify both dual-core Xenons... showing
that I have 4 3.0Ghz processors. Which is REALLY nice.

Cons:
Drivers are often not updated for x64. Luckily, I've been able to find
default drivers within Windows that met my needs. Internet Explorer 64-bit
doesn't seem too friendly with a lot of websites (including Microsoft's).
But I'm a Firefox user anyways, so that doesn't affect me much.

Problems:
I have had some of the weirdest glitches with x64 - most of them relating to
graphics. And they could all stem from having a bad driver for my graphics
card. Although images and pictures view perfectly... I am having problems
with simple graphics issues:
1. Any Microsoft website/help page the text is GIGANTIC. Even when I
reduce the view to "smallest font" the text is quite large. My resolution is
1024 x 1280, so it's not a resolution issue.
2. Microsoft Excel will not show highlighted cells or rows! When I click
"format:patterns" I can see the colors, but I can't see any colors within
excel itself. Yet, the colors DO show up when I print a spreadsheet.
3. Internet - again, certain colors are not showing up. For instance: in
Gmail the logo is colored perfectly, but there is no other colors on the page
and the border is just a solid black line (instead of the fancy colored
border I see in standard XP). I see this on many webpages where .jpg & .gif
images show up fine, but formatting & layered images are not showing.

If anyone knows the solution to my problems, I'd greatly appreciate your
input.

64 is still new and you will just have to wait like the rest of us for
updated 64bit drivers.
Keep sending those emails to the manufacture and tell them you need 64bit
drivers, maybe if they get clogged up with requests they will get on the
ball and do something.

Ah, so you think I'm right that it's probably an out-dated graphics driver?
I will have to start flooding ATI with emails - after I scour their site for
driver updates of course. heh.

Some manufacturers have released beta drivers, just go look....
