XP won't install

I need help--I cannot install WIndows XP pro on new
computer which I bought--the install seems to be in a loop-
-on the first reboot, it jsut starts from scratch and I
cannot get anywhere. Any ideas?
 
Greetings --

Make sure you set your BIOS to boot from the hard drive after you finish the
first part of the install.
 
Plz do not press any key to boot frm cd the second time
the setup starts .. probably that mite be 1 of the
problems. If not plz free to revrt bac to me at my email
add.

Also the OP should make sure "anti-virus" is turned off in the bios.
