XP won't boot without CD in drive

I have this very strange problem. I did a fresh install
of XP pro. The install went fine. WIth the CD installed,
everything boots up fine. As soon as I remove the CD and
reboot, I get the message:

"Boot Failure. Insert BOOT diskette in A: Press any key
when ready."

The system won't boot unless the XP Pro cd is in the
drive. I checked my bios settings for the boot order and
they are as follows:

1. 1st IDE HDD
2. Floppy
3. ATAPI CDROM
4. Disabled

Any ideas?!?!?

Hello,

Try changing the boot order to the following and test.

Hard drive.
