XP Wireless connection 128 bit problems

Works fine with 64 bit but connection fails on 128 bit any suggestions?

Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 Dlink 624

WEP Shared Mode with no SSID Broadcast disabled.
 
which hardware Rev of the DI-624 - there are 3 A,B,C - and there are
firmware updates - which firmware?

Have you tried setting the NIC to OPEN?
