XP windows update

Ever since I updated my XP machine with all the necessary windows updates,
the menu you right hand click on the desktop says "can't find requested
string" and when I click on this it comes up with an error that says "Windows
cannot find "can't find requested string" which is very strange. It is not a
major issue just strange and the fact that it is my machine again that does
not like windows update.

Any ideas?

Did you install updates for Hardware Drivers also?
If you have integrated Intel Graphic card then you may receive the above
error.
