XP will not start

XP will not start, Last known configuration also will not
start Xp. Any help appreciated

What error do you have on boot? How far does the machine boot currently?

You did also try booting into safe mode, right ? If these

boot options do not work, then try booting to a XP CD for
either a repair type re-install, or use the Recovery
Console helpful repair functions. Check these articles
