XP Will Not Load

Hi ive got an XP machine that when started normally will not load it gets to
the XP screen with the loading bar and just hangs, i recieve no errors and it
will just sit there for ages pretending that its loading!
I can start up in safe mode with networking but that takes an oddly long
time it seems to hang (at ghpcw2k.sys) for around 5 mins and then springs to
life and starts safe mode?
Ive exhausted all my knowledge and am sick of trawling the web.
I think it may just be completely dead but hey maybe one of u lot know?

Have you tried 'Last Known Good Configuration' - same screen as access to
Safe Mode - to see if you can boot into Windows? Failing that try a System
Restore via Safe Mode.
