XP versus Printers

Looks like people are going through hell with their
printers.i have tried using the expensive gold usb
cables,and i have also tried unistalled and reinstalled the
printer software too many times.is there something else I
may need to uninstall on my pc for this to work.I am
running xp professional.

Failing to include Step 4 results in the older and corrupted drivers being
reinstalled.

If it fails to resolve your problem, post the exact details.... in the
correct newsgroup for printing problems which is

microsoft.public.windowsxp.print_fax

and I'll look into it.
